Impact of Tax Exempt Property on Municipalities Focus of Committee Meeting

WEDNESDAY 9:30 a.m. Hearing Room 1, Capitol North Office Building    

Harrisburg – The Legislative Budget and Finance Committee, chaired by Sen. John Pippy (R-37), will hold a meeting Wednesday on the impact tax exempt properties have on the fiscal status of Pennsylvania municipalities.  

The meeting will be held Wednesday, May 6 at 9:30 a.m. in Hearing Room 1 of the Capitol’s North Office Building.  

The committee will present details of a previously released report entitled “Tax Exempt Property and Municipal Fiscal Status,” and hear reaction from a panel of municipal and nonprofit organizations.
