IMMEDIATE RELEASE SENATOR PIPPY'S OFFICES DROP-OFF SITES FOR HURRICANE RELIEF ITEMS Senator John Pippy today announced today that his district offices will be made available as drop off sites for items needed to aid residents affected by Hurricane Katrina. The Pittsburgh Project (www.pittsburghproject.org) is coordinating efforts to bring up to 300 people to Pittsburgh, for temporary housing and assistance, from the areas of Louisiana and Mississippi hardest hit by the devastating hurricane that destroyed so much a week ago. Senator Pippy is encouraging residents of the region to help those displaced families by donating the following needed items:
Beginning Wednesday, September 7, 2005, donations can be dropped off to any of Senator Pippy's District Offices and the items will be delivered to The Pittsburgh Project for distribution. Senator Pippy's offices locations are:
