IMMEDIATE RELEASE Projects in 37th District receive $16.8 millionGrants to promote economic development, job creationThe 37th Senatorial District will receive an estimated $16.8 million in grants for economic development and job creation projects, according to state Senator John Pippy. The funds were part of $73 million in economic development grants recently released for projects in the Greater Pittsburgh Region. "Our region will benefit in many ways from these grants," Senator Pippy said. "Most importantly, these investments are expected to boost projects that will create thousands of new jobs for our community. This is a great catalyst for renewed economic growth in the 37th Senatorial District and for Southwestern Pennsylvania." The grants for projects in the 37th Senatorial District include:
