FOR
IMMEDIATE RELEASE FISH FOR FREE DAYS COMING NO LICENSE REQUIRED ON MAY 29 AND JUNE 5 The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission will offer Fish For Free Days on Saturday, May 29 and Saturday, June 5 as a way to introduce people to the fun of fishing in Pennsylvania, according to State Senator John Pippy, R-37th District. Fish for Free Days exempt all anglers from the need to have fishing licenses, which are normally required for all persons over the age of 16. "We are fortunate to have so many great lakes, rivers and streams in Pennsylvania and Fish for Free Days provide great opportunities for people to get out and learn – or relearn – the fun of fishing," Senator Pippy said. "These are excellent opportunities for families to get together and enjoy Pennsylvania's natural beauty and have fun at the same time." While the license requirement is waived on Fish For Free Days, all other rules and regulations and special regulations, including seasons, sizes and creel limits, still apply.
