SENATOR PIPPY TO HOST TOWN MEETING ON PACE/PACENET
Session with Congressman Murphy set for April 16 in Bethel Park
State Senator John Pippy will host a special town meeting on April 16
in Bethel Park to discuss Pennsylvania's PACE and PACENET prescription
drug programs for senior citizens and the new federal Medicare
prescription drug plan.
Congressman Tim Murphy will be Senator Pippy's special guest for the
program, which will begin at 10 a.m. in the Bethel Park Community Center,
5151 Park Avenue.
"We have seen many changes in the prescription drug benefits that are
available to senior citizens, so I know some of our older residents and
their families may have questions and concerns," Senator Pippy said.
New income guidelines recently went into place for the PACE and PACENET
programs, which make thousands more seniors eligible for that coverage. In
addition, the federal program is just getting started. "With Congressman
Murphy's help, we will try to answer the questions that people may have
about these programs," according to Pippy.
